Beijing is also known as Peking. It is the People's Republic of China's capital. It is directly governed as a municipality under the direct administration of its central government.

Nanshan Ski Resort - This is situated along Beijing's Miyun County. It is approximately 80 kilometers from the downtown area. This Ski Village feature assorted trails, more than 150 snowboards and about 3,000 pairs of skiing equipment on rental. It has about 1,318m of Toboggan Runs that crosses one bridge, 5 jumping segments and 9 highs. It even has a skiing school having 40 international instructors.
Nanshan Ski Resort has 8 trails meant for beginners, intermediate and even advanced skiers. Accommodations in this ski resort are at Shirton Villas, having 24 double rooms - all of which are equipped with a fireplace by the Nanshan Skiing Club. The rate per day is $50. Huaibei Ski Resort - This ski resort is situated by the Jiugukou natural scenic spot. It is approximately 70 kilometers from Beijing. It is also part of the Great Wall's rectangle tower - the Jiabianlou.
This ski resort is regarded as the biggest in Beijing. It has the longest run which covers over 30,000 square meters. It has a drop elevation of about 238 meters. Its ski trails are comprised of 2 intermediate trails and 2 advanced trails. There are also 4 beginner tracks. It has a cableway that is about 1,200 meters. For inquiries, call 010-6966-1177.
Jundushan Ski Resort - This ski resort is situated along the popular Xiaotangshan Spa in Beijing's Changping district. It is nearest ski course to the downtown section of the city (about 30 kilometers away). It has a 150,000 sw. meter snow covered area as well as all-around service facilities, totaling to 6,000 sq. meters. This makes it one of Beijing's largest ski courses.
Jundushan Ski Resort boasts of over 4,000 meters of advanced, intermediate and primary ski lanes by the hillside. It is strictly designed in line with the physical characteristics and international standards of Chinese. It has 2-person ropeways having a total throughput of about 3,500 persons per hour. It also features 3,100 sets of imported skis, 8 sets of haulage equipment meant for ski lanes and thus servicing 6,000 to 10,000 skiers each day. Other amenities include a super-large, professional, new power system which can make a thick orange atmosphere suitable for night skiers.
